Benamejí has wonderful traditional cuisine and its olive oils, table olives and cold meats are internationally acclaimed. Among the more popular dishes is “Picadillo” (Consisting of orange, cod, boiled egg, onions and olive oil). The region is also well known for its impressive variety of seasonal bread and pastries.
